This Privacy Policy explains how VI Ventures LLC, doing business as Jingler, collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the Jingler app, website, shared song pages, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
The information collected depends on how you use Jingler.
Information You Provide for Song Generation
When you create a song, we may collect:
- The message or prompt you enter
- Selected genre, mood, style, or other generation settings
- Song title or other editable information
- Feedback or regeneration instructions
- Generated lyrics
- Generated audio
- Generated artwork or imagery
- Moderation and safety signals
- Whether you save, share, replay, regenerate, or delete a song
Do not submit highly sensitive, confidential, or legally protected information.
Account Information
If Jingler offers accounts, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Account identifier
- Authentication information
- Account preferences
- Subscription entitlement status
If Sign in with Apple is used, Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal email address.
Purchase Information
Purchases are processed through Apple.
We may receive:
- Product purchased
- Subscription status
- Purchase and renewal dates
- Storefront
- Trial or offer eligibility
- Transaction or receipt identifiers
- Cancellation, expiration, refund, or billing-status events
We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
Subscription information may also be processed by a subscription-management provider such as RevenueCat if that service is used.
Device and Usage Information
We may automatically collect:
- Device type
- Operating-system version
- App version
- Language and region
- IP address
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Session timestamps
- App interactions
- Generation performance
- Referring campaign or source
- Crash logs
- Diagnostic logs
- Error information
- Fraud and security signals
We do not collect precise location unless a feature clearly requires it and appropriate permission is obtained.
Shared Song Information
When you share a song, we may collect:
- Shared song identifier
- Date and time shared
- Link opens
- Playback events
- Basic browser or device data
- Referral events, such as whether a recipient visits the App Store
A recipient may be able to access the song without creating an account.
Support Information
When you contact support, we may collect:
- Name
- Subject
- Message
- Issue category
- Device and app information
- Screenshots or attachments
- Communications with support
Website Information
The website may collect:
- Browser type
- Device type
- Pages visited
- Referring site
- App Store CTA clicks
- Sample-song plays
- Support-form activity
- Cookie or analytics identifiers where configured
Analytics and Session Replay
We use a third-party analytics provider to understand how the app and shared song pages are used. In addition to the usage information described above, session replay technology may capture a visual reconstruction of interactions with the app and shared song pages, such as taps, scrolling, playback controls, and screen or page navigation.
- Typed input is masked and is not visible in recordings
- On-screen text and images, including song lyrics, are masked by default
- Recordings are used to diagnose problems and improve the product, not for third-party advertising
- Session recordings are retained for approximately 30 days after capture

- Provide and operate Jingler
- Generate songs and related content
- Deliver and play shared songs
- Maintain user libraries
- Process and verify subscription access
- Respond to support requests
- Moderate inputs and generated results
- Enforce the Content Guidelines
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security threats
- Troubleshoot failures
- Analyze performance and product usage
- Improve reliability, safety, and user experience
- Communicate about material service changes
- Meet legal obligations
- Protect Jingler, users, and third parties
We do not use the content of private song prompts to deliver third-party advertising.
3. Third-Party Generative AI Processing
Jingler relies on third-party generative AI services to create songs.
When you request a song, Jingler sends information to the AI provider that may include:
- Your message or prompt
- Selected genre, mood, and style
- System-generated instructions
- Limited technical metadata
- Moderation information
- Generated output where further processing is required
Our current provider may include Google generative AI services, including Gemini and/or Lyria APIs, as applicable.
The provider processes this information to generate, moderate, secure, and operate the requested service under its applicable terms and contractual arrangements.
The provider’s retention, abuse-monitoring, human-review, and model-improvement practices may differ depending on:
- The specific API or product used
- Whether the service is paid or free
- The contractual configuration
- The account and region
- Provider policy changes
Do not state that prompts are never retained, never reviewed, or never used to improve models unless that is confirmed by the exact provider contract and technical configuration in production.
Song generation cannot function without transmitting the generation request to the provider.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients.
Generative AI Providers
To process prompts, moderate requests, and generate songs.
Hosting, Storage, and Delivery Providers
To host the backend, save generated files, and deliver shared audio or images.
Apple
To distribute the app, process subscriptions, administer refunds, and verify purchases.
Subscription-Management Providers
To maintain subscription entitlement and purchase status.
Analytics and Diagnostics Providers
To understand performance, diagnose crashes, attribute installations, and improve the Service.
Customer-Support and Email Providers
To receive and respond to support and privacy questions.
Professional Advisers
To lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, or consultants where reasonably necessary.
Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law or legal process
- Respond to lawful government requests
- Enforce agreements
- Investigate fraud or security incidents
- Protect rights, safety, or property
- Prevent serious harm
Business Transfers
Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to applicable legal protections.
5. What We Do Not Do
Jingler does not:
- Store your complete payment-card information
- Sell the contents of your messages or generated songs
- Share song prompts or generated songs with advertisers for targeted advertising
- Access your device contacts unless a future feature explicitly requests permission
- Read unrelated messages from your device
- Automatically post generated songs to social networks
- Claim ownership of personal information contained in your prompts
If advertising, tracking, or new SDKs are introduced, this Policy must be updated to reflect those practices.
6. Shared Links
A shared song link is intended to be accessed by the people with whom it is shared.
However, anyone who obtains the link may be able to open it.
Do not include sensitive or confidential information in a song intended for sharing.
We may use randomized URLs and other access controls, but a shared link should not be treated as a secure private vault.
7. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
The production implementation should use the following framework unless changed before launch:
- Prompts and generated content may be retained while needed to provide the user’s library or active share links, until the user deletes the content or account
- Deleted content and account data should be removed from active systems promptly and from routine backups within approximately 30 days, unless legal or security retention is required
- Diagnostic and server logs may generally be retained for up to 90 days
- Session replay recordings are generally retained for approximately 30 days after capture
- Support communications may generally be retained for up to 24 months
- Purchase and transaction records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance
- Moderation and abuse records may be retained as reasonably necessary to prevent repeated abuse and protect the Service
These periods must be changed if they do not match actual system behavior.
We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify a user.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Request access to personal information
- Request correction
- Request deletion
- Receive a portable copy
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent
- Appeal certain privacy decisions
- Complain to a privacy regulator

If Jingler supports account creation, users may also use any account and deletion controls made available inside the app.
9. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Where applicable, residents may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and to obtain information about disclosures.
Jingler does not sell personal information for money.
Jingler does not sell or share the contents of prompts or generated songs for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If future analytics, attribution, or advertising practices legally constitute “selling” or “sharing,” Jingler will provide any required disclosures or opt-out mechanisms.
Jingler will not discriminate against a user for exercising applicable privacy rights.
10. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Similar Regions
Where applicable, Jingler processes personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract, to provide the requested Service
- Consent, where required
- Legitimate interests, such as security, diagnostics, and product improvement
- Compliance with legal obligations
Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required, Jingler and its providers will use legally recognized transfer safeguards.
Users may contact their local data-protection authority.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information.
These may include:
- Encryption in transit
- Access controls
- Restricted production credentials
- Rate limiting
- Secure secret management
- Logging and monitoring
- Provider access controls
- Regular dependency updates
- Restricted AI API keys
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
Jingler is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

13. Automated Moderation
Jingler may use automated systems and third-party moderation tools to evaluate prompts and outputs.
These systems may refuse permissible content or fail to identify prohibited content.
Moderation decisions may prevent a song from being generated or shared.
Users may contact support if they believe a request was incorrectly refused.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service, providers, or laws change.
The effective date will be updated.
Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
